Fort Frances Physicians Group (FFPG) is a group of Physicians practicing as a Family Health Organization (FHO) in Fort Frances, ON. We are affiliated with and work collaboratively with the Fort Frances Family Health Team, a comprehensive team of allied health professionals made up of Nurse Practitioners, RNs, RPNs, a Health Promoter and a Dietician.
Currently the two groups provide primary care to a patient population of approximately 8000. By working collaboratively, the team is able to provide a broad spectrum of Ministry of Health funded, primary health care services to its patients to ensure they receive the care they require.

FFPG welcomes locum physicians on a regular basis to provide quality healthcare within our community. The locum physician coverage gives our local physicians much needed time for non-clinical duties.
Physicians in our clinic routinely take part in teaching medical students and resident doctors. As a patient in this clinic, you may be seen and cared for by a medical learner in conjunction with your family doctor. Research shows that patients receive better care when medical learners are involved in their care. We hope that you will be agreeable to be seen by a medical learner from time to time, although you may politely decline.
